Tonight, Tonight

I watched a lot of movies on my trip to Baltimore this past weekend.  I also had a lot of fun and saw a bunch of cool stuff and ate a bunch of delicious food and all that other cool stuff you do on a trip, but we also watched four movies in 36 hours.

We know how to party.

Anyway, one of those was this one I'd never heard of, but it starred Channing Tatum, so DUH we chose that one.

Have you seen it?  It was okay.  It lost me for a little bit in the middle, but it was a pretty cute story/ending.  

The best part was the song at the end.  It was a cover of one of my FAVORITE SONGS EVER as a teenager, Tonight, Tonight by The Smashing Pumpkins.

At the risk of sounding like I'm 68, they just don't make music like this anymore.  Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness was one of my favorite cd's for the longest time.  I would play it back to back with Backstreet Boys, and I'm pretty sure that made a lot of people think I was such a poser, but WHATEVER.

But anyway, I have listened to that song approximately 875,211 times since leaving Baltimore and I'll tell you what, those lyrics resonate a lot more with me now than at 14.

Love it.  And the video was amazing.
